Marika Ito Reveals What’s On Her Mind and Announces Graduation from Nogizaka46!

Marika Ito, first generation member of Nogizaka46, announced her graduation from the group via her blog on October 2, 2017.
She explained that with the opening of her art exhibition “Ito Marika no Nōnai Hakurankan” (Inside the Mind of Marika Ito) at GALLERY X by PARCO in Shibuya starting on October 5th, she felt that the timing was right to announce her graduation. While she did not reveal specifics about her future plans, Marika shared her happiness at being able to express herself fully through her art. Her graduation date is tentatively listed as “by the end of the year”.
Ito Marika no Nōnai Hakurankan runs from October 5-15, 2017 at GALLERY X by PARCO in Shibuya (10:00am – 9:00pm) with another exhibition announced to take place in Kyoto also.
