Manaka Inaba from Country Girls Announces Hiatus Due to Athsma

It has been announced on April 28 that Country Girl’s Manaka Inaba will be on hiatus due to asthma. She has been suffering from the disease since early age, and although the symptom subsided as she grew older, it started to emerge again since the end of 2015, possibly due to the change in environment after she came to Tokyo.
Lately, the symptoms became more frequent to the point where she had to take absence from events. After numerous consultations between Manaka, her family, and the doctor, she has decided to rest for a while to concentrate on her treatment. The date of when she will resume her activities is undecided, and UP-FRONT will officially announce when it is settled.
She has commented words of apologies on Hello! Project’s official website for the sudden announcement, saying that it is disappointing that she has to take a break, and that she will do her best to come back as soon as possible.
