At the national handshake on October 11, 2015, it was announced that there will be a Majisuka Gakuen spinoff featuring HKT48 members, and that HKT48 will release their 6th single on November 25, 2015.
During the scavenger hunt mini game, members were tasked to find a “rebellious person” in the audience, and Rino Sashihara and Aika Ota came back on stage with Sho Ayanokoji, the leader of Kishidan.
Then a video was played to reveal that a Majisuka Gakuen spin-off was approved, and that it will feature HKT48 as the main cast with Kishidan as supporting cast. The theme song to the spin-off series, “Shekarashika!”, is HKT48’s 6th single and it will also be a collaboration with Kishidan. It will be released on November 25, 2015. Members who did not know about the drama production and the collaboration single were as surprised as the 6000 fans at the venue.
After all the Kishidan members came on stage, Ayanokoji called the collaboration “most powerful ever” and gave each of the 6th single senbatsu members a tokkofuku coat with an embroidery of the member’s name.
Detailed information regarding Majisuka Gakuen spin-off and HKT48’s 6th single will be announced in the near future.
