MAGiCAL PUNCHLiNE step into the gray area between technology and magic with the MVs from their quadruple A-side 2nd single “DEUS EX MACHINA” (release date: December 20)!
Using the previously released “Title Mutei” (Untitled) video from October of 2017, which was directed by the artificial intelligence AI-CD β, the 4 songs were created. Despite using the same images, the music matches up eerily.
“Watashi ga Watashi wo Moyasu Riyū” features music and arrangement by KanadeYUK, lyrics by hotaru, and was produced by Tom-H@ck.
“Tenohira Gaeshi” was composed and arranged by Shohei Ikezumi with lyrics by Ayumi Tamura
“Owarazarishi Mithril” was composed and arranged by maegami with lyrics by Yuka.
The music, lyrics, and arrangement for “Line Carnation” is by Heptag.
There is even a short video showing the members watching the MVs for the first time.
“DEUS EX MACHINA” will be released in a CD/DVD limited edition and a CD regular version. The DVD includes the full-length MVs for all 4 songs and a code to level up “Magical Quest” points. In addition to in-store events to promote the single, MAGiCAL PUNCHLiNE will be holding their 2nd one-man live DANCE DANCE ROMANCE: PART I at TSUTAYA O-WEST on December 9th!
