Little Glee Monster cut loose in the MV for their 5th single “My Best Friend” (release date: May 11)!
Opening with the members of little Glee Monster running through the audience high-fiving their fans as they leave one of their performances, they magically end up in Odaiba’s Venus Fort shopping center before teleporting to the streets of Shibuya, a karaoke room, and a few other parties. Similar to some of their previous MVs, it ends with them joining a live band, this time set on a rooftop. Even though this is a “short version”, it seems to be almost the entire thing.
“My Best Friend” is the new commercial song for Round 1 sports entertainment centers all over Japan. Here are some of the commercials!
The coupling song “Happy Gate” is the new commercial song for Sony Sonpo insurance company.
The third song on the single “Never ending dreamer” is the theme song for the MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System) spring high school baseball program “Minna no Koushien”. The fourth song on the single “JOY” is not (yet?) connected to any company, product, or television program but it was written by Hyadain (aka Ken’ichi Maeyamada). The DVD for the limited edition includes the full-length MV and making of for “Chiisa na Koi ga, Owatta”.
