East Meets Westside: LinQ’s 5th Single Collaboration With Dempagumi.inc & Mofuku-chan Announced!

Just days after releasing their 4th single “Natsu Koi” on July 30th, Fukuoka idol group LinQ received some amazing news right before their final performance at this year’s Tokyo Idol Festival. During the short interval between Dempagumi.inc and LinQ’s performances, Mofuku-chan (Fukushima Maiko), producer of Dempagumi.inc appeared on the stage accompanied by Ayane Fujisaki (Dempagumi.inc), Yuumi Takaki (LinQ), and Kurumi Matsumura (LinQ).

Mofuku-chan announced that she would be producing LinQ’s next single “Wessai!! Gassai!!” which would be released on September 24th. The good news did not end there though, Risa Aizawa (Dempagumi.inc) would design the costumes, Nemu Yumemi (Dempagumi.inc) would collaborate with famous video director Smith for the music video, and artist Ai☆Madonna would provide illustrations of all 29 members of LinQ. Based on the success of Dempagumi thanks to the production of Mofuku-chan, the amazing video for “Not Bocchi…Natsu” (Dempagumi) created from the collaboration of “SumiNemu” (Smith and Nemu Yumemi), and the cute artwork of Ai☆Madonna, expectations for LinQ’s 5th single are high, as reflected by the excitement of the some 3,000 fans that were gathered at the TIF Hot Stage.
