KyaryPamyuPamyu has been Selected as a Model for International Ad Campaign!

KyaryPamyuPamyu, who is charged with spreading the culture of KAWAii to the world, has been appointed as “Ambassador Ora2 HAMiGAKi.” From now on, she will be appearing in ads for Sunstar Inc.’s toothpaste brand for women, Ora2. TVCM for the campaign will be aired in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore. Not only that, ads on billboards and big LED screens will be exposed in all four countries. Those commercial film and graphic visuals will be unleashed on October 10.
For Kyary herself, it will mark her first time being part of an international ad campaign.

The concept for this special collaboration between Sunstar Inc. and Kyary is “spread the new culture of toothpaste with concepts of ‘fun’ and ‘kawaii’ to the young women in Japan and Asia”.

Kyary commented, “I’m really glad to be appointed as Ambassador Ora2 HAMiGAKi, because I often brush my teeth in order to ease the tension before my performance, and usually carry a toothbrush with me as an item to refresh myself. Through this campaign, I hope every girls not only in Japan but also in Asia to enjoy brushing teeth with the toothpaste to keep up kawaii!”

Continuing from the the ad campaign, she will be also releasing her seventh new single on November 6, and will be holding her 2nd world tour from February, 2014.
