Keyakizaka46 has unveiled the MV for “Eccentric” from their first album “Masshiro na Mono wa Yogoshitakunaru” (release date: July 19)!

As much as there has been a handful of idol music videos out there that has done very extreme stunts such as running naked in the forest, Keyakizaka46 redefines eccentricity with their new MV. Instead of doing outright crazy things, the girls display a visual eccentricity that is crazy yet creative, and along with a dance sequence that is similar to sumo wrestlers that regular idols wouldn’t do.

In the MV, the members can be seen dressed in white tops and mid length skirts, and the costume that they wore for their drama, Zankokuna Kankyakutachi, whose theme song is Eccentric. At parts of it you can see members dancing wildly and crazily while getting soaked, and in other parts you could see Yurina Hirate walking with only one shoe on. Noticed how they started with a ponytail and changed to letting their hair down? Fans who has been to their lives would have seen the same actions been done on stage. And yes, what about that empty chair in the school hall?

“Eccentric” was released during their 4th single, “Fukyouwaon”. However, this song was so great and cool that they decided to make an MV for it since they were shooting the drama at the time. The full MV will included in Type B of their upcoming first album, “Masshiro na mono wa Yogoshitakunaru”, which will be release on July 19th.

With an upcoming national tour in Japan with at least one live performance every two days once in the month of August, the girls will definitely be doing some crazy stuff.
