Kamiyado Receives Warm Welcome to Fukuoka With Sold Out 1st Kyushu Performance!

Kamiyado enjoyed some warm southern hospitality as their Kami ga Yadoru Basho〜Daremo Mita koto no nai Basho he Tobitatō!〜 Kamiyado Spring 2017 Tour touched down at Fukuoka PEACE on April 8, 2017! As one of the smallest venues of the tour, it was a particularly up close and personal experience for Kamiyado and the kakifu (舁夫, Kamiyado term for fans) in attendance for the sold out performance.
The set list hand-picked by Mei Hashima, had the live off to a bristling start with the uptempo “KMYD” and “Odore! Kamiyado Carnival”. The pace then proceeded to cool off gradually as Kamyado settled into some of their calmer material with “Nikushimi toiu Na no Okurimono wa Agenai”, “Ano ko ni Bareru yōna…”, “Bokura wa Ai wo Shinjiteru”, “Jōnetsu wa Tariteiruka?”, and “Parachute☆Love”. Mei explained that she and Kamiyado had come to Fukuoka to heat the place up and that the rest of the set list would be extremely hot.
As promised, Kamiyado turned up the heat as they blazed through the higher tempo end of their catalog with “Action!”, “Harajuku Sentai! KAMIYADO Ranger”, “Hissatsu! Chō-KAMIYADO Senpū”, and “Zenkai! KAMIYADO World”, before whirling to a stop with “Summer Dream”.
Following a “Dondon, Mei” encore call, Kamiyado returned to repay the kakifu for their outpouring of enthusiasm and support with “Bi・Bi・Bi♡”. Mei was full of gratitude for the warm welcome that Kamiaydo received even though it was their first time in Fukuoka and Kyushu, commenting, “In Fukuoka and Kyushu, there must still be a lot of people who have never heard of Kamiyado so I think we can get everyone more and more excited. This live was just the beginning and I hope as we take this big step forward, everyone here will come with us together.” On that note, Kamiyado ended their successful first expedition to Fukuoka with “Hajimari no Kane wo Narase”.
Kamiyado continues their tour in Osaka (April 16) with the finale coming at Shinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo (April 30). Pre-sale tickets for both remaining lives have been sold out
