The announce was made during the daytime performance of “iDOL Street Carnival 2016 ~Shinshun! Kaiun! Uta-Matsuri!~” held on January 17th, 2016 at Nakano Sun Plaza Hall. Fans were surprised by the sudden announcement made at the end of the concert.

Maaya Takeda commented that “Studying abroad is not my goal, I want to be back here after my study and lead iDOL Street.”, insisting her intention to return to the group. Marin commented that “It was hard to make this decision, but I chose it because I want to change myself. I will come back with many experiences from overseas.” Mariya also insisted “This is not graduation but studying abroad. I will come back here as one of the members of Cheeky Parade.”

Further details were not fully announced, but they will study singing and dancing as well as English. Their last appearance will be June 25th, 2016 where it was reported that Cheeky Parade, GEM, and SUPER☆GiRLS will undergo a reformation.
