HR Unwrap the Sweet Days of Summer in the MV for Their Major Label Debut Single “Natsuiro Candy”!

HR (Hakata Reboot) welcomes summer with the refreshing MV for their major label debut single “Natsuiro Candy” (release date: June 24).

“Natsuiro Candy” is HR’s first MV to feature the members in swimsuits on the beach. With the clear blue sea in the background and sand squishing between their toes as they perform, the feeling that summer has arrived is quite strong (it probably helps that the climate is warmer in southern Japan)!

HR (Hakata Reboot) was established in 2010 with the intention of “rebooting Hakata” and allowing girls to pursue their dreams of becoming idols while staying in Kyushu without having to relocate to Tokyo. The first idol group to have their own theater in Fukuoka (1 year before HKT48 was formed in 2011), HR has been one of the pioneers of the competitive idol scene in Kyushu. While maintaining the base of their activities in Hakata, HR has performed at Tokyo Idol Festival twice (2014, 2013) and have become familiar to idol fans from all over the world.

“Natsuiro Candy” will be sold in 4 different versions: a CD/DVD Type-A and 3 CD-only versions (Type-B, Type-C, and Type-D). Type-A has 3 coupling songs: “cherry cherry picking”, “Higher and Higher”, and “Kono Natsu wo Wasurenai”. The DVD has the MV and behind the scenes video of “Natsuiro Candy” and a “virtual date” video which was filmed at the Port of Hakata. The coupling songs for the CD-only versions are: “cherry cherry picking” for Type-B, “Kono Natsu wo Wasurenai” for Type-C, and “Higher and Higher” for Type-D.
