HKT48 Reveals Senbatsu Members for 3rd single “Sakura, Minna de Tabeta”

On February 8, HKT48 held their concert ‘HKT48 Kyushu 7-ken Tour ~Kawaii Ko ni wa Tabi wo Saseyo~‘ in Nagasaki. During this concert, the group announced the senbatsu members for their 3rd single which will be released on March 12.

In the noon performance, Rino Sashihara appeared in a tuxedo and announced that the title of the 3rd single will be “Sakura, Minna de Tabeta“. She then called off the names of the 16 senbatsu members.

Following the 2nd single “Melon Juice”, Meru Tashima and Mio Tomonaga will serve as the center position. Moreover, 3rd generation kenkyuusei Miku Tanaka and Nako Yabuki join the senbatsu members for their first time.

Chihiro Anai / Aika Ota / Haruka Kodama / Rino Sashihara / Chiyori Nakanishi / Natsumi Matsuoka / Sakura Miyawaki / Anna Murashige / Aoi Motomura / Madoka Moriyasu / Yuka Akiyoshi / Mai Fuchigami / Miku Tanaka / Nako Yabuki / Meru Tashima / Mio Tomonaga

After all the names were called, the 16 senbatsu members showed off the first performance of “Sakkura, Minna de Tabeta.”

During the evening concert, there was a surprise announcement that HKT48 will be making their first independent appearance on TV Asahi’s popular music program ‘MUSIC STATION‘ on February 14.
