HKT48 to Hold an Audition to Recruit 4th Generation Members & Details for Arena Tour 2016 Announced!

It was announced that HKT48 to hold the audition to recruit the 4th generation members, during HKT48 Himawari-gumi “Tadaima Renai chu” live performance at HKT48 theatre in Fukuoka, on December 19th.

This announced was made by Rino Sashihara and the other members did not know about the audition for the 4th generation members. They screamed out for surprise, and Aika Tada commented that “It means that Maria(Maria Imamura) will have Kouhai, right?” and Rino Sashihara answered “Let them call her “Imamura-san” with respect!”, as Maria is currently 12 years old, the youngest member in HKT48. The application for the audition is 23:59, February 29th, 2016. You can apply on HKT48 official site’s special page.

The 16 members for that day were ;

Rino Sashihara, Haruka Kodama, Sara Miyawaki, Akari Tada, Kojina Yui, Yuka Akiyoshi, Chihiro Anai, Yukari Inoue, Riko Sakaguchi, Yuki Shimono, Miku Tanaka, Yuuka Tanaka, Asuka Tomoyoshi, Erena Sakamoto, Maria Imamura, and Hana Matsuoka. (All the Team H, Team KIV and Kenkyuusei members are mixed) “Tadaima Renai chu” kouen is originally from AKB48 team A’s 4th stage held at AKB48 theatre since 2007. Starting December 26th, AKB48 team B is set to start the same program.
