As if things couldn’t get more impressive for the largest Gyu-No Fes to date, April 10th’s “Gyu-No Fes Road to Tochigi!!! Tochigi-ken he no Michi Dai Kick-Off〜Mankai! Haru no Gyu-No Idol Matsuri〜!”, a few more additions have been made! Idol Renaissance, Nao Fukushi, co-captain of SKE48‘s Team E, Kuroneko no Yuutsuu, and members of the anime marronni☆yell were announced after the lineup was said to have been finalized at the beginning of March. After all, promoter Gyuzo is the kind of person who decided to have an all day event with idols and rakugo at the historic Studio Alta in Shinjuku before it was torn down, so it shouldn’t be surprising to see some last-minute add-ons.
Because the Gyu-No Fes series of events were created to raise awareness and support for Gyuzo’s home prefecture of Tochigi, it only makes sense to have performers from there, which is why Nao Fukushi, Kuroneko no Yuutsuu, and marronni☆yell (the anime is broadcast in Tochigi) were added. The three will be appearing at a special talk stage during the event. Unfortunately, it seems that Tochigi native Kechon was removed from the event since it was probably too much to expect her to make it when Yurumerumo! would be performing in Taiwan on April 9th.
Idol Renaissance has no members from Tochigi but, they are one of the hottest rising groups in the idol scene, receiving praise from discerning music fans for their high level of performance. They will be performing a 30-minute set on the main stage.
