French Kiss will be releasing their 6th single “Omoidasenai Hana” on October 1. It was announced on July 15th, which was Yuki Kashiwagi’s 23rd birthday. Kashiwagi commented with delight, “I’m so glad to made a happy announcement as French Kiss’s new single release, today was an especially memorable day. It will be a brilliant year!”
The new single marks their first single in 2 years and 3 months since they released their previous single “Romance Privacy” in July 2012.
The title track is a song which is reminiscent of folk music from the 1970s.
The song was used as the theme song for Aki Takajo’s starring drama “SAVEPOINT” (aired in July on TV Tokyo), and is currently being used as the CM song for P&G’s “Natsu koso Migake! ‘Otoko no Midashinami’ Campaign” that stars Yuki Kashiwagi, as well as the theme song for the group’s reality travel show “French Kiss no Kiss Tabi“.
P&G’s “Natsu koso Migake! ‘Otoko no Midashinami’ Campaign” Gillette ver.
The single will be released in 4 different types, and each type will come with a bonus DVD. Each DVD will include the PV of the title track, as well as one episode of Takajo’s drama “SAVEPOINT.”
