Flower have come out with an astronomically impressive MV for “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” (release date: December 16)!
The song starts off slowly with the members looking at the night sky wistfully and Reina Washio singing delicately. Keeping with the title of the song (it roughly translates to “the milky way deep in your eyes”), there are several scenes where the billions of stars in the galaxy seem to be shining their lights from the eyes of the members. This is the first time that Flower is attempting to incorporate contemporary dance into their performance so be prepared to have your breath taken away as if you were stuck in the vacuum of space. “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” is the new ending theme song for the anime Kindaichi Case Files (Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo), a popular detective series.
“Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” will be released in a CD/DVD
Type-A (CD/DVD) includes the coupling songs “Lucky 7”, “Imagination”, and “Virgin Snow”. The DVD has the full-length MV for “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” and a clip from Flower LIVE TOUR 2015 “Hanadokei”. Type-B, Type-C, and Type-D include a 2016 version of “Hanadokei”. There is also a limited edition 500 yen version which only includes “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” on it.
