Faint⋆Star, the girls unit with HINA, originally from Tomato n’ Pine, and YURIA, this being her first musical endeavor, put on their first overseas concert at the ENNICHISAI 2015 in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the May 9th, and revealed their first album release scheduled for Tanabata, July 7th.

ENNICHISAI 2015 is an event displaying Japanese culture such as portable shrines (mikoshi), drums, and cosplay, attracting 200,000 people over two days, and even at the outdoor POP Stage, the large crowds there were full of enthusiasm. When Faint⋆Star took the stage, the crowd’s energy was at a max, and despite it being their first time to see the group, YURIA introduced herself and greeted everyone in Indonesian and after asking everyone to “Enjoy the concert!”, the stage area filled with big, resounding cheers and many people imitating the members’ movements and waving together.

During their MC after their second song finished, they said, “We have a big announcement today.” After telling everyone that, “Faint⋆Star’s first album will be released worldwide on Tanabata, July 7th!!” there were loud cheers from the crowd, and “Congratulations!” in Japanese could be heard from more than a few people.

Presently their first album will released in Japan, the U.S., Taiwan, and Indonesia, and will be available all over the world. All four of their MVs have English subtitles, and on Tokyo Girls’ Update, they’ve previously appeared at the number one spot on our monthly ranking.

On both May 9th and the 10th, they held on a concert and meet-and-greet at ENNICHISAI 2015, and were filmed by local media, and also from the 11, they moved from Jakarta to Bandung, a city three hour, where a performance had been scheduled at Utama University’s mini school festival, and they received an offer from one of Indonesia’s award-winning, famous cameramen, in an interesting turn of events.

Since their return to Japan they keep adding concerts, and on the May 17th, Tokyo Sound Collection, organized by Faint⋆Star organized with performances by Rhymeberry and original Aell. leader Rika Nishie, and DJ ABO, they plan on showing the footage taken of them in Indonesia.

In the near future the group will hold their first Hokkaido concert, with various other performances already decided, and so it seems that someday soon Faint⋆Star, meaning “Kasuka na hoshi” in Japanese, will soon become a real star, seen not only from Japan, but from around the world.
