Devil ANTHEM. Release Cover Art for Debut Single “Devil ANTHEM.〜Kimi no Heart wo Seifuku-chuu〜”!

Devil ANTHEM., the newest artist on Tower Records Japan’s latest idol specialty label youthsource records, has revealed the cover art for their debut single “Devil ANTHEM.〜Kimi no Heart wo Seifuku-chuu〜” (release date: August 4, 2015).

Devil ANTHEM. is a group formed in 2014 that has been getting quite a bit of attention in the indies idol scene with their cute looks, mischievous personalities, and fierce performances. Even though the title of the song has the word “seifuku” in it, this does not mean “uniform”（制服）; the characters are different（征服）. In this case, it means “subjugation, conquest, or overcoming”.

youthsource records follows in the path of T-Palette Records, founded by president of Tower Records Japan, Ikuo Minewaki. However, the label is, as the name implies, focused on promoting promising young idols. Also on youthsource records is “whispering voice” Yamanashi idol Peach sugar snow and solo idol Serena Kozuki. Seeing how Minewaki was able to build T-Palette into an indie label that competes strongly with major labels and managed to grow sales of Tower Records despite declining CD sales worldwide, it might be safe to say that he has an eye for talent and promotion?

The members of Devil ANTHEM. belong to the Asia Promotion talent agency (Tsubasa Masukawa/Milky Bunny, Ganbare! Victory).The concept of the group is the two-faced nature of demons and angels. The music is being produced by Sasa Imaki, who previously worked with Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku (“Mikakunin Chugakusei X”) and Caramel☆Ribbon (“ALL NEW FEELIN’”). Release events to promote “Devil ANTHEM.〜Kimi no Heart wo Seifuku-chuu〜” begin on July 21st and will continue until July 29th. Devil ANTHEM. will also be having their 1st one-man live (solo concert) at Shinjuku RUIDO K4 on September 27th so don’t miss this chance to see one of the promising new talents of the Japanese idol scene before they get too big!
