It is probably the first time in the world to create a drama that has a setting of a Japanese all-girls middle school bathroom. Starting from May 20, a drama “Joshi No Jiken Wa Taitei Toire de Okorunoda” (A Girl’s Catfight Often Starts In the Bathroom) will be uploaded on the drama website GYAO, and the teaser video was released on YouTube.
17 girls who are actually middle school idols will appear in the drama, and the movie will reveal the true face of the middle school girls.
The drama will be uploaded every week on Wednesdays, and the audience will be able to watch the first 12 episodes for free.
The director of the drama, Shiraishi Kazuya, is famous for receiving several awards such as the Japan Academy Award, and the script is written by Nemoto Shuuko, who is the president of a theatrical company.
The cast consists idols who are currently attracting attention: Misako, the drum player of the band group “Shinsei Kamattechan” and “Band Janaimon!”; Aonami Jun, the winner who received the grand prix of Miss iD 2014; Kumata Rinka, a model who received grand prix of Nicola Model Audition (famous teenager magazine); and Nakayama Riko, a member of an idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku. The 17 casts were chosen from more than 120 people by an audition.
In addition, the illustrations of Mizuno Shizu, also the grand prix of Miss iD 2014, will appear in the drama.
