Brats, the girls band featuring Rei (LADYBABY) and Aya Kuromiya that has been active since 2011, have finally released the MV for the song “14-sai byou”!
The song was written by URBANGARDE’s Tenma Matsunaga, who was inspired by Rei and the title is a reference to “chuunibyou”, a condition which usually affects 2nd year middle school students as they are stuck between childhood and adulthood and trying to figure out who they are. Director Kanae Usagi, who also cast Rei in her short film “HeavyShabbyGirl”, has packed the video full of images that splatter the light and darkness that lurks in the hearts of young girls all over the screen.
Even with the global explosion of popularity that LADYBABY is currently experiencing, Rei is still performing with Brats regularly so be sure to see them live when you can!
