Saki Shimizu, the tiny captain of a Japanese popular idol group Berryz Kobo, revealed on February 17, that she had eye surgery. The operation was done successfully, she is going to work with an eye patch a week or so.

“I have something to tell you all. I had been feeling a lump in the eyelid from several months ago. I went to the hospital several times, while consulting with a doctor, then I decided to have a surgery.
It sounds very serious, but it’s not a big deal at all… laugh. About a week or so, I live with the eye patch, but I will appear in events with energy! Although I had the surgery, I am soooo fine! So please don’t worry!”
She has been so cheerful and a skilled dancer since the debut.
The little body has a great soul. Get well soon Captain!!
