BABYMETAL held a rite of prayer wishing that their 2nd single “Megitsune” will make the chart. It was held at Tower Records Shibuya, Tokyo on June 22th.

They appeared in the Kimono costume, which harmonizes very much with the new song’s concept “Festival Metal”.
Then, they prayed in Japanese traditional style of Shinto. Oinari-san (sushi pocket / fried bean curd stuffed with vinegared rice) which is said to be a favorite food of fox was prepared as an offering.(This is because the title, Megitsune means female fox in Japanese.) What’s more, it was colored in black, the image color of BABYMETAL.
In the ceremony of offerings and prayers, fans also said a prayer with members.

In the talk session after the ceremony, SU-METAL said, “The new song is full of a short interlude, I want to enjoy this song at live and fes with fans!”
MOAMETAL unveiled the episode, “Choreography of the new song is so vigorous, that I tore my costume without noticing when we were shooting the Music Video. This song is the best to get Summer festival feeling.”
YUIMETAL said with a smile, “There will be a celebration of the birthday of MOAMETAL and YUIMETAL at NHK Hall on June 30. I don’t know what will happen, but I want you to mosh a lot with me.”

Also BABYMETAL overseas fans, please pray for the hit of their new song, Megitsune!
