BABYMETAL Returning to NY & LONDON this November!

BABYMETAL have announced they will return to NewYork and London this November. The concerts will be held as part of their additional global tour titled “BABYMETAL Back in the USA / UK Live Tour 2014“.
Venues and dates have not been announced at this time, but according to the source, both of the concerts will be held in larger venues than before.

They also announced that they will release new DVD/Blu-Ray “LIVE~LEGEND 1999 & 1997 APOCALYPSE” on October 29th. The must-have item features concert footage from “LEGEND “1999” YUIMETAL & MOAMETAL Seitansai” held at NHK Hall in June of last year and “LEGEND “1997” SU-METAL Seitansai” at Makuhari Messe in december of last year.

Beginning with a performance in France on July 1st, BABYMETAL went on to perform in Germany, the United Kingdom, North America, successfully performed their first overseas one-man show, as well as appearing at large outdoor metal festivals such as “Sonisphere Festival UK” in the United Kingdom and “HEAVY MONTREAL” in Canada, being the topic of conversation everywhere they went. After finishing their overseas tour, they took the stage at “SUMMER SONIC 2014” for a performance to mark their triumphant return to Japan.

The three girls slowly appeared on stage with their images projected on the big screen. Throwing off their cloaks, they made a grand reveal of the “BABYMETAL” logo, and starting their set with “BABYMETAL DEATH”, they quickly whipped the crowd into a frenzy of cheering and countless fox signs. Continuing with “Gimme Chocolate!!”, in the call-and-response part of the song, SU-METAL called out “Let’s sing together!”, and the crowd instantly reached maximum voltage. Fans were enraptured by their overwhelming performance on the huge stage known as MOUNTAIN STAGE and a singing voice that pierced the entire arena, and the whole venue was knocked out by their powerful rendition of “Ijime Dame Zettai”.
