BABYMETAL Announces the Baptism of The NEW GODDESS in The Holy Land of Hiroshima!

With the gathering of all 5 Fox Flames and opening of the 5 portals, BABYMETAL revealed METAL RESISTANCE EPISODE VI “LEGEND – S – BAPTISM XX -“, the 2-day birthday ceremony for SU-METAL at Hiroshima Green Arena on December 2-3, 2017!

Closing out the final days of their “Kyodai Kitsune Matsuri” (Giant Fox Festival) at Osaka-jō Hall on October 14-15, 2017, BABYMETAL set the stage for SU-METAL’s long-awaited return to her homeland of Hiroshima leading up to her 20th birthday (December 20), marking her ascent into adulthood and her baptism as the NEW GODDESS and Messiah to lead the METAL RESISTANCE. With 5 massive screens hanging down at the back of the stage and lighted crucifixes suspended in the air, BABYMETAL opened the festivities with “BABYMETAL DEATH”, the capacity crowd moving together as they threw their kitsune up to the relentless rhythms.

The intense mood within the venue continued to build throughout the performance as BABYMETAL smashed through “Syncopation”, “Ijime, Dame, Zettai”, “KARATE”, and “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!”, reaching its climax as the fans sang along passionately to “THE ONE – English version -” to end the evening.

In commemoration of SU-METAL’s birth, “LEGEND – S – BAPTISM XX -” will be accompanied by “Three Sacred Treasures”. December 2nd will be a THE ONE (fan club) limited performance and December 3rd will be open to the general public. Additionally, “Kin Kitsune” tickets will be available to those born between April 2, 1997 and April 1, 2005 . The first round of THE ONE ticket lotteries begins on October 19, 2017 (12:00pm JST) and runs until October 25, 2017 (11:59pm JST) with results being announced on November 2, 2017 (6:00pm JST). The second round of THE ONE ticket lotteries begins on November 3, 2017 (12:00pm JST) and runs until November 9, 2017 (11:59pm JST) with results being announced on November 17, 2017 (6:00pm JST).

In addition to screenings of the final day of “Kyodai Kitsune Matsuri” (Giant Fox Festival) at Osaka-jō Hall being held at Zepp Divercity Tokyo, Zepp Nagoya, and Zepp Osaka Bayside on October 16, 2017, it will also be broadcast on WOWOW on December 23, 2017.
