AKB48 won the grand prize of The Japan Record Awards for two consecutive years !

The Japan Record Awards, is major music awards show held annually in Japan was held at  New National Theatre Tokyo on December 30th.
This year, AKB48 has received the grand prize for two consecutive years with their hit song “Manatsu no Sounds Good!” !
(They won the same prize with “Flying Get” last year. )

Takahashi Minami held tears, and said “I would be so glad. We really wanted to grab the prize last year, but we wished to win it again because we started the Chapter 2 of AKB48. We are very proud that we could receive this prize when there are so many great artists here.”

Oshima Yuko said “Thanks for all of fans, staffs, and members, we can got this award. So we should create  own strengths next year. Please support us in the future. ”

Watanabe Mayu said while crying “Encouraged by this award, we will keep trying our best. There was some pressure, but we gained self-confidence from this award. We will produce next good result.”

Then, KyaryPamyuPamyu won the special prize. and her producer Nakata Yasutaka won the award of arrangement.
