AKB48 released the documentary movie of their charity project “Dareka no Tame Ni”

AKB48 and its sisters groups has been continuing the reconstruction assistance for the Tohoku Earthquake. The project is titled “Dareka no Tame Ni Project“.
Under the project, they released the digital charity single and held a charity concert for fundraising, etc. Not only that, members has visited the affected areas to encourage victims many times regularly.

The movie below is a real record of their activities.

And then, AKB48 will release a new free charity single titled “Tenohira ga Kataru Koto” on March 8th.

It will be distributed through the “Dareka no Tame ni” website.
Donations for the single will be accepted, with all proceeds being donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

AKB48 and its sister groups SKE48NMB48 and HKT48 will hold a special charity performance at their respective theaters on March 11th, the 2 year anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami.
