Akamaru Dash☆ Releases MV for “Another You”, a New Commercial Song for “Akai Kitsune to Midori no Tanuki”

Akamaru Dash☆, a four unit idol group produced by Tetsuya Takeda, released MV for their new single “Another You” (release date : February 10th), and they appears on TV commercial for “Maru-chan Akai Kitsune and Midori no Tanuki” (those are names for cup noodles) .

The new music video starts with a nostalgic school where it creates a world where Mari Tamashiro implicates about going abroad. This MV connects to the theme of the commercial, which challenges the Japanese culture to outside Japan.

The main visual of the new single is based on the theme of “Japanese”, and appears to put emphasis on their concept of “Tabedoru”, which is an idol with a concept of eating. Not only it keeps the traditional Japanese taste, but the vivid use of color appeals them as a part of Japanese pop culture!

Prior to the MV’s release, their new commercial videos, “Akai Kitsune and Midori no Tanuki” Harajuku and Kawagoe versions has been released in the end of last year. In the background of the commercials, their song “Another You” is played!

The commercial videos are based on the theme of reassuring the taste of “dashi”, Japanese soup stock made from fish and kelp, by having a slogan, “dashi is a Japanese culture”. Tetsuya Takeda and Akamaru Dash☆members go out to Harajuku and Kawagoe, where foreign people gather for sightseeing, asking foreigners to taste the dashi. How about trying the noodles with their music?
