Misaki Iwasa from AKB48 has revealed the MV for her 5th enka single “Gomenne Tokyo” (release date: January 6)!
In the MV, Iwasa sings sorrowfully of a love lost while waking along a stony beach as waves crash in front of her, a world far removed from the Tokyo she has left behind. As always, Iwasa looks stunning in traditional Japanese kimono!
Limited Edition
“Gomenne Tokyo” will be released in a limited edition CD/DVD version and a regular CD-only version. The DVD includes the MV and making of video for “Gomenne Tokyo”. The coupling songs on the CD include an enka version of “Halloween Night” and a cover of the official AKB48 group official Bon-Odori Song, “Ippo-me Ondo”.
Regular version
In celebration of her 21st birthday on January 30, 2016, Iwasa will be holding her first solo live at Asakusa Public Hall. She will also be holding several release events to promote the single so be sure to check her twitter or her Tokuma Japan site for more information.
