FLiP Delivers Teaser Video for Mini Album “BIRTH”!

Girls’ band FLiP have released a teaser for their mini album “BIRTH” (release date: May 6) featuring short clips of the songs “JEREMY”, “YOU”, and a studio live version of Mongol800’s classic “Chiisana Koi no Uta” from the drama Proposal Daisakusen (2007). The clips from “YOU” and “Chiisana Koi no Uta” were filmed in their home of Okinawa with its white sand beaches and clear blue sea as the background.
While FLiP has been known for getting hard and heavy for most of their career, they show their diversity as musicians by using a variety of different techniques and vocal harmonies that is part of their evolved sound. It should be interesting if they find a way to mix the sounds of the past and present together as well.
“BIRTH” will be sold in 2 versions: a limited edition version with a DVD and a regular CD-only version. The DVD has a “10th Anniversary Special Movie!” included. FLiP might be a very different band than they were when they started 10 years ago but, after that long, it would be odd if they hadn’t changed. They will be having a special 10th anniversary “one-man” at TSUTAYA O-WEST on July 12th. Don’t miss the next chapter in FLiP’s history!
