Babyraids JAPAN Establish Esprit de Corps With First Overseas Live at Japan Expo 2016 in Paris!

Babyraids JAPAN rocked their first overseas live, gathering together over 4,000 fans from all over Europe and Japan when they hit the Karasu Stage at Japan Expo 2016 in Paris on July 9, 2016!
With the audience already heating up as soon as their intro video began playing, the venue was thrust into a spontaneous outbreak of controlled chaos as Babyraids JAPAN kicked off the performance with “Tora Tora Tiger!!”, the fans from many nations united as they danced along with the members on stage. The intensity continued to build with their breakthrough hit “Koyomi no ue wa December” from the NHK drama “Ama-chan”.
Babyraids JAPAN impressed the fans by introducing themselves in French, Rikako Oya receiving a loud “Rikopin” call. Erika Denya caused quite a few hearts to race with her flirtatious line in “Baby Kiss” when she delivered it in one of the most romantic-sounding languages in the world! Manatsu Hayashi, citing that she had been looking forward to coming to France, had even prepared a French song for the event, surprised the audience by singing part of “Poupée de cire, poupée de son”, the international hit by 1965’s Eurovision song contest winner France Gall.
Continuing with their debut song “Babyraids” and the popular “Yoake Brand New Days”, Babyraids JAPAN brought their unforgettable first international performance to a close with “SMILE”. Overwhelmed by the warm response, Denya shared that she was so happy that Babyraids JAPAN7s first overseas live was in France and that they were looking forward to coming back in the future, closing with “merci！Je vous aime tous.”
Babyraid JAPAN have announced their yet untitled second album to be released on September 21st. One of the new songs on the album “Cinderella ja Irarenai” has been selected as the theme song for the television broadcast of the International Women’s Softball Championship. The DVD/Blu-ray for “Babyraids JAPAN Dengeki no Live 2015 ~Shijou Sai ‘Netsu’! Chotto Okume no Christman Sakusen~” will be released on July 20th and will include all 27 songs from their their December 28, 2015 year-end concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall. They will also be holding “Netsu-Kurushisa Zenkai!! Babyraids JAPAN 4 Shuunen Kikaku 『EMOTIONAL IDOROCK FES.』69-jikan Party! Party!! Fire!!!”, a 69-hour long festival which will begin at 7pm on October 6th and run until 4pm on October 9th at Shinjuku ReNY.
