“Next Break” Rock Idols underbeasty Reveal MV for 1st Single “raven”!

underbeasty, who have been often referred to as a “visual kei idol group”, have unlocked the MV for their 1st single “raven” (release date: July 28)!

Unlike what you would expect of visual kei, there is no gothic lolita clothing or androgynous members but, the appearance of underbeasty is definitely striking as they move together, raising their fists while clad in leather jackets. It’s not hard to figure out why they were able to pack Akihabara Twin Box when they had their first one-man in December of 2014 or continue to attract new fans as they make their way through the underground idol scene. The lyrics and choreography has been produced by the members of the group and they even provide input on musical direction.

The coupling songs for “raven” are “occult propose” and “spotlight”. In addition to performing at “Dogenzaka Kouen vol. 6” on July 28th with CANDY GO! GO!, Muse!! (not the English rock band), Dogenzaka Nobori-tai, Arisa Takahashi, Team Crusher, and others at TSUTAYA O-EAST, they will be having a release event at Akihabara Twin Box on August 2nd and Tower Records Kichijoji on August 22.
