Did You Miss Out? Tokyo Game Show 2015 Cosplay Playback!

Tokyo Game Show is one of those huge events in Japan that keeps attracting more and more visitors every year. This year’s Tokyo Game Show saw almost 300,000 people (268,446) through the doors of Makuhari Messe over 4 days, breaking the previous record from 2014 (251,832). Just as there is not enough time to check out all the games, there is no way to see and take pictures of all the cosplayers at Tokyo Game Show. Here is a small sampling of the amazing cosplay that was on display during Tokyo Game Show 2015! All photos shown have been provided courtesy of Tokyo Game Show.

On the evening of September 19, 2015, the first public day of Tokyo Game Show, there was Cosplay Collection Night @TGS sponsored by Cure, where some of the most talented from all over the world crossed the stage to show off the fruits of their labor.

Of course, the cosplay was not just restricted to the event stage! There was a special cosplay area outside the halls and it was like everywhere you looked, there were groups of them walking around Makuhari Messe. It seems Ladybeard had a busy day since Tokyo Girls’ Update interviewed him and the rest of LADY BABY (Rei Kuromiya and Rie Kaneko) and saw them perform at Akiba Cultures Theater in the afternoon.

There was no shortage of cosplayers on the final day of Tokyo Game Show 2015 either but, it might have been more difficult to find and photograph them as there were reported to be over 100,000 visitors filling the halls of Makuhari Messe.
