21st Century Girls Team Syachihoko Love it Loud in the MV for “BASYAUMA ROCK”!

Team Syachihoko has turned it up to 11 in the MV for “BASYAUMA ROCK”, the lead track from their EP “Iijanaika” (release date: September 30)!

The MV was directed by SMITH, who was responsible for other Team Syachihoko MVs such as “Shuto Iten Keikaku”, “Ii Kurashi”, and “Ai no Chikyu-sai”. It is their first MV filmed on their home ground of Nagoya and features scenes of the members doing some last minute preparations for their Syachi Summer (Syachisama) 2015 live at resort/theme park Laguna Ten Bosch on August 28th. “BASYAUMA ROCK” was written by creator Michihiko Yanai and is dripping with the gritty fist-pumping rock rounds of the 1970’s.

“Iijanaika” will be sold in 2 different versions. The limited edition version includes a Blu-ray with 8 songs from their May 9, 2015 Makuhari HOLLYWOOD ~Ottori Girl no Gyakushu~ live at Makuhari Messe Event Hall. Team Syachihoko will be following up this EP with another EP titled “Eejanaika” which will be released on October 28, 2015. It will include 5 as of yet, unnamed songs and the limited edition version comes with a Blu-ray with 8 songs from their May 10, 2015 Makuhari HOLLYWOOD ~Ottori Girl no Kakusei~ live at Makuhari Messe Event Hall. More details will be revealed as the release date approaches.

In other Team Syachihoko news, their collaboration song with beloved children’s anime character Shimajiro, “Jirijiri Natsu-Katsu Iin-Kai” will finally be released on September 16th!

Team Syachihoko has another track on the CD titled “Kaijyu Tottoto”, which is currently airing on the NHK TV show “Minna no Uta”. Although Team Syachihoko does not make an appearance in the MV, the animated story of a young boy and his mother (who turns into a monster with a fried shrimp for a face) is an entertaining match with the dangerously catchy song.

Lastly, the DVD/Blu-ray for Team Syachihoko’s August 28th concert Syachi Summer (Syachisama) 2015 at Nagoya resort/theme park Laguna Ten Bosch will be released on November 18, 2015. It will be released in regular and deluxe editions and the deluxe versions will include a live CD from the concert.
