SKE48 has released the MVs for the team songs from their 18th single “Mae Nomeri” (release date: August 12)!
Filmed in the style of a long continuous shot (because this a short preview, it remains to be seen if the entire video is one long shot), the MV for “Suteki na Zaiaku-kan” (Type-A version exclusive) follows Jurina Matsui and Sae Miyazawa as they show up fashionably late for a party with the rest of Team S in a luxurious mansion. Jurina unsuccessfully attempts her tablecloth pulling trick but gets over it and keeps dancing. It should be interesting to see if Team S ends up doing anything that would make them feel guilty in the morning (zaiakukan 罪悪感 is Japanese for feelings of guilt).
The MV for Team KII’s “Shousou ga kono Boku wo Dame ni Suru” (Type-B version exclusive) is a dizzying slow rock song which visually looks a bit out of place with all the electric guitars, especially the BC Rich Virgo, which is not usually associated with acoustic guitar strumming. The slow motion shots are rather impressive though and hopefully, there will be another angle on the white Stratocaster being smashed otherwise, its demise was in vain.
Rena Matsui wakes up on the morning after spending the night partying with Team E in the MV for “Nagai Yume no Labyrinth” (Type-C version exclusive). Rena looks over the sleeping faces of her teammates for one of the last times as flashback scenes from the previous night’s festivities are interspersed, giving the video a bittersweet feeling. Aya Shibata is still working on not staring directly into the camera but, it seems like that is what the director wanted all of Team E to do during the dance scenes.
“Mae Nomeri” will be released in 4 Limited Edition versions and 4 regular versions (all CD/DVD). Type-A includes a Team S song titled “Suteki na Zaiaku-kan” and a documentary about the 7th generation SKE48 Kenkyuusei. Type-B includes a Team KII song titled “Shousou ga kono Boku wo Dame ni Suru” and a documentary about the 2nd generation draft members. Type-C includes a Team E song titled “Nagai Yume no Labyrinth” and the first part of a Rena Matsui documentary “2588 Days”. Type-D includes Rena Matsui’s graduation song “2588 Days” and the second part of her documentary. The coupling song for all versions is titled “Seifuku wo Kita Meitantei” performed by a unit called Dreaming Girls, however there is no MV for the song. The DVDs for each version include the MVs for “Mae Nomeri” and the exclusive songs on the CDs.
