AKB48‘s Team 8 has mobilized for a visually impressive and quirky MV for “Amanojaku Batter”, the Type-C exclusive song from AKB48’s 42nd single “Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby” (release date: December 9)!

Ikumi Nakano marches down a street as if she is driving an imaginary car (after all they are sponsored by Toyota) and the members begin appearing from behind her. It looks like the commute of students from a private girls school where the teachers are World Order, FEMM, and OK Go! Perhaps it was how the choreographer/director decided to interpret the song who’s title translates loosely to “cursed grasshopper”?

“Amanojaku Batter” is only available on the Type-C (regular and limited) versions of “Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby” and also includes “Kin no Hane wo Motsu Hito yo” by Team B. The DVD includes the MVs for those 3 songs as well as “Tera-mina” which is a selection of memorable Minami Takahashi bloopers from over 812 terabytes that have been collected over her 10 years in AKB48. The coupling song for all versions is “365 Nichi no Kamihikouki” and voting codes for AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2016/AKB48 Solo Request Hour are enclosed in the singles.
