SKE48 to Hold their First One-man Concert at Nagoya Dome!

Nagoya-based AKB48 sister group SKE48 will be holding their first one-man concert at Nagoya Dome on February 2nd, 2014.
This surprise announcement was made during AKB48’s concert held at Nagoya Dome on August 17th. The crowd of 35,000 fans shouted a ‘SKE’ call, and Matsui Jurina and Matsui Rena began to weep loudly to hear it.
During the encore of the show, SKE48 Theater manager Shiba Tomoya appeared on the stage and announced that SKE48 will be holding concerts on October 26th at Kobe World Memorial Hall and on December 6th at Yokohama Arena. After a short pause, the word ‘SKE48 One-man Concert Nagoya Dome February 2nd, 2014’ was projected on the screen.
Then, Matsui Rena said, “SKE hasn’t held a concert tour for a long time, and the only big concert we have held was at (Nippon) Gaishi Hall. We are so happy to be able to hold a concert at Nagoya Dome, that the fans and us longed for.” She also expressed, “We’d make it fun concert with all our might!”
