Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku unveiled the full-length MV for the upcoming single ‘Ume’ will be released on 16th, Jan, 2013.
The MV used the technique of 80’s like style of Japanese Animation.

While most Japanese artists are singing songs about Sakura (cherry blossom), they will start year 2013 with song about Ume (plum) .
In Japan, cherry blossom is symbolic theme for songs but plum is not so popular to sing about, and it was popular in old age, about 1000 years ago.
Kenichi Maeyamada composed and produced its new song. He is the “Ongaku Shunin” (music teacher) of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.
And, they held a live concert at Zepp Tokyo, and announced that they will be sing the ending theme song for TV Tokyo’s anime “Pocket Monster Best Wishes Season 2“. When it was announced, popular character “Pikachu” also made an appearance at their concert.
The new ending theme song is titled “Sakura-Go-Round“, and it will start airing on the 17th, in the anime’s new series “Episode N.”
