SCANDAL to collaborate with Nakata Yasutaka in their new single “OVER DRIVE”!

SCANDAL has announced that their new single “OVER DRIVE” will be released on September 18th.
The song will be produced by Nakata Yasutaka (from CAPSULE). Nakata Yasutaka is a famous composer as known as his works for Perfume, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and so on. This collaboration is his first time to produce band sounds.
Its coupling track will be a dance number titled “SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE” features all members as the main vocals. It is produced by Kosaka Daimaou. He commented excitedly, “Rave, dubstep, RAP and SCANDAL! A song filled with my favorite sounds… I made it! It’s really cool, new, and fun! Just seeing will make no gain! Let’s dance!”
This single will be released in both limited and regular editions. The limited edition will come with the DVD contains the MV for “Kimi to Mirai to Kanzen Douki“. The jacket covers were illustrated by Lily Franky.
Furthermore, SCANDAL has also announced that they will release their 5th full album, “STANDARD“, on October 2nd. It will be released in 3 different types: Complete Production Edition, Limited Edition, and Regular Edition. The Complete Production Edition will come with a t-shirt, while the Limited Edition will come with a DVD including the MVs for “Awanai Tsumori no, Genki de ne“, “Kagen no Tsuki“, and “SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE“.
