Former GALETTe Member Saki Shishima Launches New Group DEAR KISS!

Just days after her graduation performance with GALETTe at Shibuya WWW on February 6, 2016, Saki Shishima revealed her new group DEAR KISS during her birthday event at Shibuya clubasia on February 9th.

Although she performed 3 songs (“Perfect Love”, “After the rain”, “Shooting Star”) with the other 4 members, Shishima explained that she would refrain from further performances until she joins the group as an official member in April.

The DEAR KISS’ Twitter account describes the group as having a high performance level with music that mixes rock and disco. It also promises that they will evolve into an artist that will not be pulled in from the borders of the idol world. Perhaps that is what Shishima was referring to when she explained her reasons for leaving GALETTe during her graduation live, realizing that things had changed since she joined the group as one of the founding members in 2013. In addition to being a member, Shishima would also be the acting manager of DEAR KISS.
