The details of the Music Video for Yuya Uchida‘s single “Shekina Baby” feat. Rino Sashihara scheduled to be released on June 11 has been revealed. It is the first single from Yuya Uchida in 29 years.
The single has been chosen to be the theme song for “Barairo no Bu-ko” starring Rina Sashihara, opening on May 30. Rino Sashihara has also contributed to the song, and an unusual collaboration with a 53-year gap has been realized.
The Music Video features well-known performers, such as Masaaki Sakai, Tetsuya Komuro, Mariko Hayashi, Lily Franky, Sheena & Makoto Ayukawa (Sheena & The Rokkets), Hakuryu, Bro.KONE and Zeebra etc., adding splendor to Yuya Uchida’s first single after 29 years.
It is directed by Isshin Inudo, known for directing the movie “The Floating Castle”.
The video starts off with the introduction of the artists by Masaaki Sakai, and Yuya Uchida and Rino Sashihara comes forward on the golden stage stylishly and skillfully riding a “sidecar” that is rarely seen these days.
The star oozes the appeal befitting of a star, and just seeing the video will inspire you and get you excited. It is a music video that that’ll bring you happiness, as you watch the star over and over again.
Yuya Uchida showed his enthusiasm for the Music Video with the message “It’s a collaboration between an unusual couple! I’d like people to listen to it with someone dear to their hearts. “Shekina Baby”, make sure you check it out!!”
Rino Sashihara also stated “I did my best to be a rock-n-roller, not to be overpowered by Mr Uchida on the set!”, making the Music Video a must-see.
