Rei Kobayashi from Yumemiru Adolescence channels her inner rock diva in the MV for her first solo song “OVERFLOW”!
In the fourth of 5 solo songs which were announced for all of the members of Yumemiru Adolescence, Rei maintains constant eye contact with the viewer as is she is attempting to bury her song deep into their soul. “OVERFLOW” was composed and arranged by Ryo Eguchi (Stereo Fabrication of Youth, la la larks). The way that Rei is moving around on the screen, it almost feels like she should have a microphone stand with scarves tied to it or something but, perhaps that would risk taking the attention away from her?
Thankfully, Rei did not get something weird like a rap song as joked during “Kagayake! Yume Award 2014” in December of 2014 when it was announced. Then again, why would it be weird if she were to rap?
Yumemiru Adolescence begins their “#Yume-tomo Mai Tour 2015 Aki” autumn Osaka/Tokyo/Nagoya tour on October 17th at Nagoya Electric Lady Land. While the Nagoya and Osaka (umeda AKASO) dates have already sold out, there are still tickets left for the finale at Mielparque tokyo on November 15th.
