Niji no Conquistador make first contact with and get funky in the MV for their 5th single “↓Alien Girl・In New York↑” (release date: May 17)!

Miyu Otsuka takes the center position, eyes rolled back and fingers wiggling like an alien but the part about New York is not so clear in the MV. Some of the sets look like they could be trying to recreate a Chinatown but a lot of the non-dance scenes involve a kotatsu. Whatever the actual vision of director Yasuhiro Arafune or special assistant Yusuke Koroyasu was, it’s not something you will soon forget! Here are some screencaps!

“↓Alien Girl・In New York↑” was composed by Motonari Murakawa with lyrics by Meron Uminekozawa and arrangement by Dance☆Man, who has been part of some of Hello! Project’s biggest hit songs like “Love Machine” and Happy Summer Wedding”! Choreography is by Ti☆In and Yukina Sakai.
