Mirei Tanaka Returns to SUPER☆GiRLS After 3-Month Hiatus!

SUPER☆GiRLS member Mirei Tanaka, who had been on hiatus due to poor health since December of 2016, announced her return to the group via Twitter at 12:05pm (JST) on March 1, 2017!
She apologized for the worry she had caused fans, members, and staff for her absence and vowed to make up for the lost time. She mirrored her comments in a post made to her Instagram account as well.
She followed up with an entry on her blog at 12:21pm where she thanked the fans for waiting for her, expressing her wishes to meet with them again soon as SUPER☆GiRLS would be starting a tour soon. She apologized to the members of the group, expressing her determination to overtake them despite her 3-month absence. She also thanked the iDOL Street staff and promised that she would repay their kindnesses to her.
In all instances, she closed by asking for the fans to keep supporting SUPER☆GiRLS.
