Underground Idol’s Star, Mai Kotone Announced Her Solo Graduation and Start of Unit Activity This Summer!!

Solo idol, Mai Kotone opened a press conference on March 5th to announce ending lasting seven year of her solo activity at her tour final live on August 14th in Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. Instead of finishing her idol live, she will challenge on creating her own unit by gathering the members from her original audition.
Kotone has been an icon of “Underground idol” by standing on 300 stages in a year in which her activities equaled major idols. In 2013, she finally major debut from Victor Entertainment, and successfully ended her solo concerts at Akasaka BLITZ and LIQUIDROOM. Not only she succeeded in Japan, but only in Taiwan by having periodical lives.
Kotone talks that she has done everything that she could do as her solo activity. Next, she is wishing to have bigger dream that she could do only as unit group member. Kotone tells that she “wanted to graduate from her solo activity in a positive way.” She is looking forward to have members who could dream about the unit’s dream with one’s all might.
