KAWAii!! NiPPON EXPO 2014 announces the first round of artists to perform!

The largest-ever KAWAii!! & IDOL expo, “KAWAii!! NiPPON EXPO 2014“, will be held at Makuhari Messe on May 10. Akai Kouen, Ayame Gouriki, GEM, Ziyou-Vachi, SUPER GiRLS, Cheeky Parade, Dream5, PASSPO☆, Palet, Babyraids, Yamaguichi Kasseigakuen, and LinQ have been announced as the first round of artists to perform.
The event is a collaboration between “Idol YOKOCHO”, who distributes genres ranging from AKIBA-kei (Akihabara), to LOCODOL (local idol), to major idols, and “Harajuku KAWAII!!”, who promote Harajuku KAWAII culture. The expo will promote fashion and music of Harajuku, Akihabara, J-POP, and anime song, which is popular overseas. Japanese fans of fashion and music can of course enjoy the festivies as well. There will booths and exhibits that will promote Japanese culture.
The event is free to everybody, but requires advance registration. Registration started on the official site on April 7, so please check it out.
