Kamiyado Charms Nagoya As Spring 2017 Tour Rolls On!

Kamiyado returned to Aichi as their Kami ga Yadoru Basho〜Daremo Mita koto no nai Basho he Tobitatō!〜 Kamiyado Spring 2017 Tour brought them to Nagoya SPADEBOX on April 2, 2017. Even with the venue much larger than their first expedition, presale tickets were sold out and the energy of the kakifu (舁夫, Kamiyado term for fans) was overwhelming!

The set list which was hand-picked by Hina Koyama had things blasting off to a quick and heated start with “Zenkai! KAMIYADO World”, “Hajimari no Kane wo Narase”, and “Hissatsu! Chō-KAMIYADO Senpū”. Cooling down momentarily with “Jōnetsu wa Tariteiruka?”, the heat rose again with “Genkai Toppa Philosophy”. Hina explained that she had selected “love” (from the first character in Aichi) as the theme for the performance and was beside herself with anticipation during the rehearsals. She added that even though Kamiyado had lots of high energy songs, she felt that fans would be able to get excited with the group’s cute songs which spanned many genres as well.

Hina’s selection of cute songs breezed in with “Ano ko ni Bareru yōna…”, “Bokura wa Ai wo Shinjiteru”, “Nikushimi toiu Na no Okurimono wa Agenai”, and “Bi・Bi・Bi♡”.

The performance ramped up the energy as Kamiyado got the kakifu worked up into a bouncing frenzy with “Kamchatka Adventure”, “Odore! Kamiyado Carnival”, and “Action!”, before sweeping up the venue in the blustery towel waving “Summer Dream”.

Returning for the encore, Kamiyado brought down the curtain on their triumphant return to Nagoya with “KMYD”.

Kamiyado continues their tour in Fukuoka (April 8), and Osaka (April 16), with the finale coming at Shinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo (April 30). Tickets for Fukuoka have already sold out, only a few remaining for Osaka, and pre-sale tickets for Tokyo have also sold out. As Kamiyado proceeds with their first nationwide tour, it seems they continue to exceed the expectations of their fans all over Japan.
