Changes in the JKT48 Members’ Positions Announced : Haruka Nakagawa Becomes Team T captain & Melody Takes on Jakarta’s First General Manager Position!

At the end of their concert ‘JKT48 live in CONCERT ADA BANYAK RASA, PILIH SUKA RASA APA?’ (In English: A concert takes on many meanings, which one do you love the most?’ on Saturday June 13th, it was announced that there would be a notable change in JKT48‘s member positions.It was determined that each of Jakarta’s team captains had been replaced, and that a general manager had been appointed.

4 performances took place, with 3 of those performances consisting of all JKT48 members. A whopping total of 76 members danced and sang their way across the stage. This total included members from the newly formed Team T, Team KIII, Team J and all the JKT48 cadets.

The audience was in for a big surprise at the end of the concert when it was announced that all team captains would be replaced and that there would be team managers for JKT48. Team J’s Shania Junianatha, Team KIII’s Devi Kinal Putri and Team T’s Haruka Nakagawa were all made captains for their respective teams,Melody Nurramdhani Laksani was made general manager JKT48 theater and these tearful members found themselves engulfed in the sound of the crowd’s roaring excitement and support.

New team captains:
・Team J: Shania Junianatha (previously Devi Kinal Putri)
・Team KIII: Devi Kinal Putri (previously Shinta Naomi)
・Team T: Haruka Nakagawa (previously tidak ada)

Team member changes:
・Shinta Naomi (from Team KIII to Team J)
・Elaine Hartanto (from Team T to Team J)

Promotions:
・Sofia Meifaliani (promoted from Trainee to a member of Team J)
・Nina Hamidah (promoted from Trainee to a member of Team T)
・Stephanie Pricilla Indarto Putri (promoted from Trainee to a member of Team T)
・Yansen Indiani (promoted from Trainee to a member of Team T)
