A Quarter Million People Visit Japan Festa in Bangkok 2014, Marin “Feel like a Hollywood Star!”

Japanese pop culture festival, Japan Festa in Bangkok 2014, was held in Bangkok, Thailand on August 30 and 31 (Local Time). 250 thousand people had enjoyed Japanese latest and traditional culture in the two days. Natsumi Abe and LoVendoЯ boarded its 10th holding from Japan.
Following the success of “J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL” in San Francisco last year, it was the second overseas performance for LoVendoЯ. When the stage light was turned out, roaring applause and cheers became harder, and stronger. The live started with “Konoyo ni Shinjitsu no Ai ga arunara” in such the huge cheers.
LoVendoЯ
LoVendoЯ brought eight tracks including “Bukiyou”, and “Ikujinashi” which will be released in Next November. In MC, when each of the members tried to express their thanks in Thai, the words firmly captivated the local fans. Also, a special collaboration between Reina Tanaka and a local fan dance team was built only for the day, then they enjoyed performing one of the most exciting mo-musu’s song in Reina’s era, “SEXY BOY ~Soyokaze ni Yorisotte~” together on stage.
After the concert, Reina Tanaka spoke emotionally, “It was a really great pleasure! I’d love to perform the other LoVendoЯ’s songs and fan collaborations here in Thailand again!“. Usually-quiet Marin Miyazawa (Guitar) said, “Spectators made me fired up and wildly excited through the huge cheer from the stands. I felt like a Hollywood star!”
Natsumi Abe
On the second day, fans waited for Natsumi Abe coming with tons of a welcoming “Nacchi” call. She started the show with vibrant and refreshing “Kuchibiru de Tomete”. Then “Furusato” that has been a memorial song for Thai fans since Nacchi sang it in Japan Festa 2008, was brought softly to the audience.
Abe and the audience enjoyed the choreographed moves together in the chorus part of “Toumorokoshi to Sora to Kaze”, the whole place was filled with Nacchi’s hearty sweet aura. As a special plan only for the day, a collaboration became reality on stage. It was between Nacchi and local cosplayed dancers, Nacchi lived up to the back dancers’ enthusiasm with singing and dancing. It was the moment everyone at the venue went nuts. Nacchi brought “Anata Iro”, and “Itoshiki Hito” at the end. Endless call for an encore made Nacchi smile. After performing an extra track “Yuugure Sakusen Kaigi”, she greeted the audience in Thai, “Kap khun ka! (Thank you!) I try hard to come back in Thai, everyone please support me, thank you!” It was a very short time, but her talent and years of effort left a heart of the audience with a big unforgettable impression.
Other than those special concerts, “Cover Dance Performance “Hello! Project”” was held, which is a cosplay / dance event of the fans, by the fans, for the fans of Hello! Project. However, not only fans, but also Nacchi and LoVendoЯ members felt something that cannot be experienced only in Japan Festa in Bangkok, Thailand.
