A Movie with Many Idols such as ‘Idoling!!!’ and ‘SUPER☆GiRLS’ to be Filmed

It has been revealed that idols like Rurika Yokoyama of “Idoling!!!” fame as well as Ai Shinozaki from “AeLL.” and “SUPER☆GiRLS” are set to appear in the movie “Alps Jogakuen (Girls High-School)”, crossing the borders of groups and labels alike.

The movie is set in the “Alps Jogakuen” in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan, a high-school accepting boarding students, as Asami – the dormitory leader of the “Maiden’s Dormitory” – struggles with the boarding students, trying to prevent the closing of the dormitory.

“Idoling!!!” veteran Rurika Yokoyama is joined by newcomer Karen Ishida and “SUPER☆GiRLS” center vocalist Rina Miyazaki. Also appearing are Ai Shinozaki and Haruna Shijo from “AeLL.”, Haruka Momokawa from the fishing-supporters in “Seishun! Tropical Maru”, Runa Sunaga and Yua Ashihara from Victor Entertainment Corporation and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting inc.’s “Tokyo Cheer2 Party”, Mai Nakahara – leading star in the 2003 musical “Annie” – and others.

On the official website a movie trailer is already available, as well as a look at the girls in their beautiful school uniforms. Thanks to the wholehearted support of Minami Alps city in Yamanashi Prefecture, every scene – the school, the school route, shops and dormitory – could be filmed entirely on location in the city. The gorgeous girls’ performance in this country girl youth story, set against the backdrop of Mount Fuji’s tranquil scenery, will be one of the highlights of the film. (Editor: Yui Yoshida)

The movie “Alps Jogakuen” is set to premiere at Aeon Cinema Itabashi, and will be shown sequentially all over Japan.
