Happy Birthday! Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Celebrates with Birthday Event

On January 27 2018, Kyary Pampyu Pamyu commemorated her 25th birthday with her birthday event “ASOBINITE!!! -KYARY PAMYU PAMYU BIRTHDAY SPECIAL-” at Shin-Kiba STUDIO COAST in Tokyo.

The singer, who turned 25 on January 29 2018, sang popular hits including “Ninja Re Bang Bang” and “Mondai Girl”.

During the MC she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to fans: “It’s been 7 years since I debuted at 18 years old! I’m now 25! I’m so happy that I’ve been able to celebrate with everyone at lives like this since I was 20!”

She declared her aspirations upon her 25th birthday: “This year my ambition is to not continue what I’ve been doing till now but to create new works!” With that, she sealed her challenge of creativity.

With emotions full of passion for the new year, the live swelled up into a frenzy of excitement even as the curtains closed on the celebration.

After the live Kyary re-emerged during Yasutaka Nakata’s DJ’ing—she delivered a surprise performance of a new song that had been given to her as a birthday present.

The stage went wild with enthusiasm as the guests who came to celebrate her birthday were given an exclusive first listen of her new song on this day.
